Job Description
Role Description The Lead Graphic Designer role at ChopShop Lab is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. This role involves overseeing the visual design direction for projects, creating graphics and layouts for video content, and ensuring brand consistency across all deliverables. The Lead Graphic Designer will collaborate with video editors, product teams, and stakeholders to translate creative briefs into effective visual solutions. Daily tasks include developing brand identities, creating logos and typography systems, reviewing and refining design work from other team members, and maintaining design standards. The role also includes mentoring junior designers, participating in design reviews, and contributing to process improvements in the design workflow.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Graphics and Graphic Design, with a solid portfolio showcasing diverse visual work.
- Experience in Logo Design and Branding, including creating and maintaining cohesive brand identities.
- Proficiency in Typography, with the ability to select and apply type effectively for digital and video formats.
- Advanced knowledge of industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar platforms).
- Demonstrated experience leading design projects and providing constructive feedback to design teams.
- Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad, collaborate cross-functionally, and manage multiple deadlines.
- Relevant education in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience designing for video, motion graphics, or digital media platforms is a plus.
