HyFun a leading brand in Frozen Food in India with exports in more than 50+ countries is seeking to strengthen its Supply Chain Team. We are looking to fill the Lead - Export Operations position based in Ahmedabad.

Position/Profile Title: Lead - Export Operations

Reporting to: Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO)

Location: Ahmedabad

Experience: 15-25 years

Purpose of the position:

• Vital to the success of the operation, this role assists in the smooth movement of goods out of the country and ensures accountability for their accounts.
• The role also involves receiving, monitoring, and processing daily freight movements as needed.
• Ensuring the correct paperwork is in place for shipments and their exporters.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Taking care of entire export operations
• Setting up the system and processes for smooth flow of export operations.
• Ensuring the best freight rates and terms are available from shipping lines and freight forwarders.
• Negotiating with transporters for inland logistics.
• Ensuring on time stock availability by appropriate liason with internal stakeholders, viz export sales team and production planning.
• Tracking of receivables from customers and raising alarms in case of delays.
• Improving the processes for export documentation to ensure that documents are submitted on time for timely payment receipt and smooth clearing.
• Ensuring adherence to various rules and regulations related to excise and customs.
• Digitalization of various processes for better visibility and prompt actions.
• Nurturing relationships with existing service providers and adding new service providers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with senior-level management regarding export management.
