Lead Engineer | 1L-2L pm | 5+Y Experience

About the Role:

DevDolphins is seeking a hands-on Engineering Lead to drive the technical delivery of our enterprise-grade projects. You will architect robust solutions, mentor a talented team, and champion quality and innovation in our Hyderabad office. Remote is ok but within max 6 months, you must be open to relocating to Hyderabad.

What You'll Do:

• Lead the end-to-end technical delivery of projects using GCP/AWS, React, and Python.
• Write clean, maintainable code and conduct thorough code reviews to elevate team output.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Advocate for and implement best practices in test-driven development (TDD), code quality, and technical debt reduction.
• Leverage AI coding agents to enhance productivity while rigorously reviewing and owning the generated code.
• Collaborate on platform engineering and DevOps initiatives, with a preference for experience in serverless architectures (GCP/AWS).

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years of software development experience with a strong command ofPythonand/orJava.
• Proven experience leading the delivery ofenterprise-grade projects.
• Deep passion for software craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a debt-free technology mindset.
• Strong platform engineering understanding and practical experience with cloud platforms (GCP/AWS preferred).
• A collaborative team player who takes full ownership of projects and their technical outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
