Lead Data Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric to design, build, and optimize scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of modern data architectures, data integration, and analytics platforms, with a focus on delivering high-quality, reliable, and efficient data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop end-to-end data solutions using Microsoft Fabric components (Data Factory, Synapse Data Engineering, Data Warehouse, Real-Time Analytics).

Build scalable and efficient ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.

Develop and maintain data models, lakehouses, and warehouses.

Integrate data from multiple sources including APIs, databases, and cloud platforms.

Optimize data processing performance and ensure data quality and reliability.

Implement data governance, security, and compliance best practices.

Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance existing data workflows.

Automate workflows and deployments using CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

8+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.

Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.

Expertise in:

Azure Data Services (Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, ADLS)

SQL and data modeling techniques

PySpark for data processing

Experience with Spark and distributed data processing frameworks.

Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and architectures.

Familiarity with real-time data streaming technologies.

Experience with Power BI integration is a plus.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
