This is a full-time, on-site role for a Lead Backend Developer, located in Mumbai. The Lead Backend Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems. Duties include collaborating with cross-functional teams, implementing APIs, troubleshooting and debugging backend systems, and ensuring scalable and secure software architecture. This position will also require mentoring junior developers and contributing to overall software development practices at ShepHertz.
- Strong knowledge of Back-End Web Development, Software Development, and architecture patterns
- Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Solid understanding of core Computer Science principles, algorithms, and data structures
- Ability to debug and optimize backend systems for scalability and efficiency
- Experience with API development and secure API integrations
- Familiarity with cloud-based or on-premise service environments is a plus
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven leadership skills and experience mentoring teams
