mayaPRAXIS, based in Bangalore, India, has a design-centred approach to practice, where we need support from project conception to implementation through design thinking, detailing, coordination and management. The team works on varied projects. Architectural projects include Schools, Apartment complexes, Houses and Farmhouses, Hotels, Resorts, Foot bridges, Urban Design Projects including Heritage area design, Street market design, Public space and Junction design, Urban Landscape and Road design.

Role Description

The Lead Architect will be responsible for designing, managing, and delivering architectural projects at various scales and types from concept to completion. Core responsibilities include architectural design, integrating new materials and technology, guiding project teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and overseeing the implementation of architectural solutions. The role also involves managing timelines and ensuring that projects meet creative, functional, and economic objectives. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Architecture and Architectural Design
• Experience in Project Management
• Proficiency in Software such as Autocad, Sketchup,Revit, Adobe Suite
• Excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
• Experience working with innovative materials, technologies, and design processes
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
• Previous experience in leading large-scale or complex architectural projects is a strong advantage
