Role Summary

We are hiring a Laser Systems & Electronics Engineer to build and deploy laser-based measurement and inspection systems. The role involves working on laser sensors, electronics, and system integration for high-precision industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with laser sensors (profilometers, triangulation sensors, LiDAR, ToF)
• Handle laser alignment and angle setup to ensure accurate measurements
• Design and manage electronics interfacing (signal conditioning, power, sensor integration)
• Integrate systems with robotic arms, PLCs, and industrial equipment
• Develop data acquisition pipelines for real-time measurements
• Perform calibration and error correction (angle, position, geometry)
• Troubleshoot sensor noise, electronics issues, and system errors
• Support deployment and testing in industrial environments

Required Skills

• Understanding of laser working principles (triangulation, reflection, ToF)
• Knowledge of laser angles, incidence/reflection, and measurement accuracy
• Experience with laser sensors or similar hardware systems
• Strong basics in electronics:
• Analog & digital circuits
• Signal conditioning
• Sensor interfacing
• Familiarity with industrial communication (Modbus, RS232/485, Ethernet)
• Programming in Python or C++

Good to Have

• Experience with embedded systems or PCB design
• Exposure to robotics integration (UR, ABB, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of computer vision / 3D data
• Experience in manufacturing, railways, or industrial projects
