Kubernetes Developer

We are looking for experienced Kubernetes engineers with strong hands-on expertise in building and managing cloud-native platforms. This role is ideal for engineers who have worked on Kubernetes internals, platform tooling, or products similar to Rancher.

You will be responsible for designing, building, and scaling Kubernetes-based platforms, contributing to custom tooling, operators, and infrastructure automation using Go.

• Design and build scalable Kubernetes-based platforms and services
• Develop custom controllers/operators using Go
• Work on Kubernetes ecosystem tools (networking, storage, security, observability)
• Contribute to platform engineering initiatives similar to Rancher-like systems
• Automate deployment, scaling, and lifecycle management of containerized workloads
• Troubleshoot complex distributed systems issues in production environments
• Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, and application teams to improve platform reliability

• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (cluster setup, networking, scaling, etc.)
• Experience building Kubernetes operators/controllers
• Proficiency in Go (Golang) for backend/system development
• Deep understanding of containerization (Docker, container runtimes)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in distributed systems

• Experience working on or contributing to developing Kubernetes Extensions, Operators, and Controllers etc.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes internals (API server, scheduler, controller manager)
