Position Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Python Backend Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of backend development using Python and a passion for building scalable applications and APIs. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or a junior developer to grow their skills and contribute to exciting projects in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in developing and maintaining backend applications using Python

Support the development of REST APIs and backend services

Write clean, efficient, and reusable code

Collaborate with frontend developers, QA teams, and senior developers

Debug and troubleshoot application issues

Work with databases for data storage and retrieval

Participate in code reviews and testing activities

Learn and follow software development best practices and coding standards

Support deployment and maintenance activities when required

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of Python programming
• Understanding of backend development concepts
• Familiarity with frameworks like Flask or Django is preferred
• Basic understanding of REST APIs
• Knowledge of SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Understanding of Git/version control systems
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong willingness to learn new technologies

Good to Have:

• Exposure to FastAPI is an advantage
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus
• Familiarity with Docker or containerization concepts is preferred
• Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman

Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodology

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Relevant internships/projects in Python backend development will be an added advantage
