Junior Design Engineer

Fusion Furnish is a fast-growing office furniture manufacturing company delivering modern workspace solutions including workstations, desks, sofas, storage systems, and collaborative furniture for corporate clients.

We are looking junior design engineer from the office furniture manufacturing industry

Key Responsibilities-

• Shop Drawings & Detailing

- Create accurate shop drawings using AutoCAD (2D + basic 3D)

- Prepare production-ready drawings with dimensions, joinery, and material specs

- Ensure alignment with site conditions and BOQs

• Value Engineering

- Suggest cost-effective alternatives in materials and construction

- Optimise designs for manufacturing efficiency

- Balance cost, durability, and aesthetics

• Material & Cost Understanding

- Knowledge of boards, laminates, edge bands, and hardware

- Assist in quantity checks and estimation

• OEM & Vendor Coordination

- Coordinate with OEM partners and factory teams

- Ensure drawings are executable and error-free

- Handle clarifications and revisions

• Execution Support

- Resolve site-level design issues

- Coordinate with design, sales, and execution teams

Required Technical Skills

• 3+ years in modular or office furniture manufacturing
• Strong AutoCAD skills
• Experience in shop/production drawings
• Basic costing and value engineering knowledge
• Ability to work in fast-paced execution environments
