About the job:

At itch, we're looking for a Junior Copywriter who doesn't just write but thinks, questions, and builds ideas that stick.

This is a brand copywriting role, not a content writing position. If you love shaping brands through words, crafting campaigns, and turning insights into ideas that people remember, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll do:

• Write, rewrite, and then write again until it feels just right.
• Develop copy for brands across digital, social, campaigns, and more.
• Ideate campaigns, digital content, social media, and beyond.
• Work closely with designers, strategists, and brand teams to bring ideas to life through sharp, effective messaging.
• Proactively pitch and execute creative ideas.
• Craft messaging that works for the brand, the brief, and the audience.
• Balance storytelling with strategy. Words should drive action, not just admiration.
• Have an opinion. Ask why. Challenge clichs. Be the voice that adds depth to creative conversations.

What we're looking for:

• 1-3 years of experience in brand copywriting (creative/advertising agency experience preferred).
• Someone who knows that puns are fun, but they aren't the only way to write great copy.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating campaign thinking, brand communication, and copy across formats.
• Understanding of branding, advertising, and creative thinking.
• Ability to write across formats: social, films, digital campaigns, websites, activations, and more.
• A knack for turning insights into compelling communication.
• Curiosity, collaboration, and a willingness to learn.
