Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Architect role based in Chennai. The Junior Architect will support the design and execution of residential interior and architectural projects, from concept development to final handover. Daily responsibilities include preparing design drawings, 2D/3D layouts, and detailed working drawings under the guidance of senior architects. The role involves coordinating with internal design, production, and site teams to ensure that concepts are translated accurately into factory-finish interiors. The Junior Architect will participate in site visits, measurements, and quality checks, assist in material selection and specifications, and help prepare presentations and documentation for clients. The position also includes tracking project progress, updating documentation, and contributing ideas to improve design efficiency and client experience.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to translate client requirements into functional and aesthetic residential spaces.
- Familiarity with basic Software tools used in architectural workflows (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and ability to support integration of drawings with production and site teams.
- Ability to assist in Project Management activities, including maintaining schedules, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and supporting on-site execution.
- Bachelors degree in Architecture or an equivalent relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
- Attention to detail, strong spatial visualization, and understanding of materials, finishes, and construction practices for interiors.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with a collaborative approach to working with designers, engineers, and project coordinators.
- Willingness to work on-site in Chennai, conduct frequent site visits, and adapt to fast-paced project environments.
- Previous internship or 02 years of experience in residential/interior projects is an advantage.
