Junior Accountant

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Accountant based in Chennai, India. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, handling accounts payable and receivable, managing account reconciliations, preparing financial reports, and assisting in audits. The role will also involve supporting tax filings, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and collaborating with internal teams to improve financial accuracy and processes.

Salary: 2.4 3 LPA

• Minimum 1 year of experience in general accounting
• Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations
• Proficiency in financial reporting and preparing basic financial statements
• Familiarity with tax filings, compliance, and regulatory standards
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors is a plus
• Candidate must be based in Chennai
