Junior Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented accountant to support our finance and accounting operations. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining financial records, and coordinating with external accountants and auditors. This is a non-signatory, execution-focused role suitable for early-career professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries
• Record invoices, expenses, payments, and receipts
• Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts
• Maintain accurate books using accounting software (Zoho Books / Tally)

Invoicing & Payments

• Generate customer invoices and track collections
• Process vendor payments and employee reimbursements
• Maintain invoice and payment documentation

GST & Compliance Support

• Prepare GST data (sales, purchases, input tax credit)
• Coordinate with external CA for GST filing and compliance
• Maintain records required for audits and statutory filings

Reporting & Coordination

• Prepare basic financial reports (monthly summaries, expense reports)
• Support internal teams with finance-related data
• Coordinate with auditors, CAs, and consultants when required

Required Skills:

• B.Com / BBA (Finance / Accounting) Mandatory
• M.Com / CA Inter Preferred but not required
• 13 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
• Freshers with strong accounting fundamentals may be considered

Knowledge on Tools:

• Accounting principles
• GST basics
• Zoho Books Excel or Google Sheets
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to handle confidential financial information
