Responsibilities

Assist the Senior Fashion Designer in creating and developing designs for sarees, lehengas, anarkalis, shararas, kurtas, and fusion wear and contribute ideas to seasonal collections while ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics and current fashion trends.

Assist in the garment construction process, from sketches to final products, maintaining high-quality standards.

Execute the sampling process under the direction of the Senior Designer, ensuring samples meet design and quality expectations.

Create mood boards for seasonal collections and design presentations for client meetings.

Help develop accurate patterns for different garment types, ensuring precise measurements and fit.

Should have embroidery knowledge and be able to work with artisans and vendors to ensure high-quality embroidery craftsmanship.

Should have knowledge in digital and foil print designs

Maintain detailed cost sheets, range sheets, and fabric, trim, and embroidery swatch cards for seasonal collections.

Stay updated with emerging fashion trends, fabrics, and market demand and to work closely with the design, production, and merchandising teams to ensure seamless collaboration and timely product launches.

Qualifications:

2 years of experience in fashion design.

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.

Knowledge in silhouette design, garment construction, and pattern making.

Knowledge in embroidery design and creating digital and foil prints.

Understanding of fabric properties and their application in Indian wear.

Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, and MS Office.

Strong sketching and illustration skills

Excellent communication and collaboration skill
