Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Junior Chef de Partie (Jr CDP) role at Basic Fit, based in Mumbai. The Jr CDP will assist in food preparation, maintain kitchen operations, and ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met. The role involves executing specific cooking tasks, following recipes, maintaining quality standards, assisting in inventory management, and collaborating with the culinary team to deliver expertly crafted meals aligned with the company's nutritional vision.

Qualifications

Proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and understanding of standard recipes.
Knowledge of kitchen operations, including inventory management and equipment handling.
Ability to maintain food safety and hygiene standards in a high-paced kitchen environment.
Strong teamwork and communication skills for effective collaboration within a culinary team.
Prior experience in a professional kitchen, preferably with exposure to nutritionally balanced recipes, is an advantage.
Culinary degree or certification from a recognized institution is preferred but not mandatory.
A passion for creating high-quality meals that combine nutrition and flavor excellence.
