We are a fast-growing deep-tech aerospace company building the worlds most advanced aero engines for both military and civilian applications. Our current focus includes jet fuel-based propulsion systems for military UAVs, as well as pioneering green hydrogenpowered aero engine R&D for future aviation. About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive IT Executive (23 years experience) to manage and scale our internal technology ecosystem at a cutting-edge aerospace company in Bengaluru. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring seamless IT operations that support high-performance engineering teams working on advanced aero engine technologies, including UAV propulsion and hydrogen-powered aviation systems. This is an opportunity to directly impact productivity, security, and innovation in a fast-paced deep-tech environment.



Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Ensure 99.9% uptime by monitoring and maintaining on-premises and cloud-based server infrastructure
  • Manage and optimize LAN, Wi-Fi networks, VPN access, and overall IT connectivity
  • Implement robust data backup strategies and disaster recovery plans to safeguard business continuity
  • Oversee end-to-end IT asset lifecycle management including procurement, configuration, deployment, and tracking
  • Maintain a real-time IT asset inventory and streamline onboarding/offboarding processes
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues, coordinating with vendors for timely support
  • Manage software license compliance, renewals, and subscription tracking to avoid service disruptions
  • Optimize software utilization and IT spend by identifying underused licenses and tools
  • Administer user access control, password policies, and system permissions across platforms
  • Ensure endpoint security, including patch management, antivirus updates, and compliance with IT security protocols
  • Provide Level 1 & Level 2 technical support, resolving employee IT issues efficiently
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve IT processes and enhance operational efficiency


Required Qualifications & Skills:


  • 23 years of hands-on experience in IT support, system administration, or IT operations roles
  • Knowledge of key server terminologies like server connectivity, scalability, memory cores etc
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux Servers, Active Directory, Office 365, and/or Google Workspace administration
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, VPNs
  • Experience with IT asset management systems and helpdesk/ticketing tools (e.g., Jira, Freshdesk, ServiceNow)
  • Knowledge of IT security best practices, endpoint protection, and access management
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail in managing assets and renewals
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot under pressure
  • Effective communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
