A Day in the Life

Results-driven Data Engineer with strong expertise in Databricks, Snowflake, Python development, and modern data engineering practices. Skilled in designing scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, workflow orchestration, data transformation, and cloud-based analytics solutions. Experienced in working with intelligent agents, automation frameworks, and data-driven architectures to support enterprise analytics and AI initiatives. Strong knowledge of SQL, distributed data processing, and performance optimization with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and efficient data solutions.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and enterprise data workflows.
  • Build and optimize data solutions using Databricks and Snowflake.
  • Develop Python-based automation, integration, and data processing solutions.
  • Work with structured and semi-structured data from multiple enterprise systems and APIs.
  • Implement workflow orchestration, scheduling, dependency management, and monitoring solutions.
  • Support real-time and batch data processing use cases.
  • Collaborate with analytics, AI/ML, and reporting teams to enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, security, and performance optimization across platforms.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability and scalability.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to innovation initiatives involving AI agents, intelligent automation, and modern data platforms.

Required Knowledge and Experience: 

  • 3+ years of IT experience with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, MCA, or MSc.
  • Strong experience with: Databricks Snowflake Python Programming SQL & Data Modeling
  • Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and enterprise data workflows.
  • Good understanding of distributed data processing and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with workflow orchestration and scheduling concepts.
  • Knowledge of APIs, automation frameworks, and integration patterns.
  • Understanding of cloud-based data engineering architectures.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in collaborative Agile teams.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Self-driven and eager to learn new technologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Experience with AI agents, intelligent orchestration, or automation frameworks.
  • Exposure to Apache Spark / PySpark.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
  • Experience working in enterprise healthcare or regulated environments is a plus.
