About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced IoT Architect to lead the design and development of scalable IoT solutions across multiple programs.

This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership capabilities. The ideal candidate will not only drive architecture and solutioning but also play a key role in mentoring teams, building capabilities, and shaping the future of IoT practice within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive end-to-end IoT architecture for scalable and secure solutions.
• Lead solution design and implementation across multiple IoT programs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams.
• Mentor and coach team members to build long-term capability and expertise.
• Ensure best practices in IoT security, scalability, and performance.
• Oversee integration of IoT systems with cloud platforms, data pipelines, and analytics solutions.
• Stay updated with emerging IoT technologies and industry trends.
• Drive continuous improvement in architecture standards and development practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall experience in software engineering with deep expertise in the IoT domain.
• Proven experience in designing and delivering scalable IoT architectures and solutions.
• Strong understanding of:
• IoT platforms and ecosystems.
• Device connectivity protocols (MQTT, HTTP, CoAP, etc.)
• Edge computing and device management.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT, or GCP IoT).
• Strong knowledge of data streaming, real-time processing, and analytics.
• Hands-on experience in end-to-end solution implementation.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.

Good to Have

• Experience with AI/ML integration in IoT solutions.
• Knowledge of containerization and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards.
• Experience in building and scaling IoT teams or practices.
• Exposure to industrial IoT (IIoT) or smart systems.
