Investment Analyst-Intern

Role Overview

We are seeking a driven Investment Analyst Intern with a finance background and up to 6 months of experience to support our startup onboarding and investment analysis function. The intern will assist in evaluating early-stage startups, conducting financial and market research, and supporting due diligence and onboarding processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in screening startup applications and pitch decks
• Support financial analysis including basic revenue models, cost structures, and projections
• Conduct market and industry research on startups and sectors
• Help with startup onboarding documentation and data verification
• Assist in due diligence activities (financials, business fundamentals)
• Prepare investment summaries, reports, and internal notes
• Maintain and update MIS, trackers, and databases related to startups
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding of startups
• Assist in initiating startup scouting and engaging in initial conversations with founders.

Eligibility & Requirements

• 06 months of experience (freshers can apply)
• Educational background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, B. Com, M.Com, MBA (Finance), CA Inter, CFA Level I, or related fields
• Basic understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
• Knowledge of startup business models and fundamentals
• Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets
• Good analytical, research, and communication skills
• Strong interest in startups, venture capital, and investments
