We are looking for an experienced Internal Controller for a leading steel manufacturing company in Angola.

Indian expatriates currently working in Africa or professionals with prior Africa experience are preferred and strongly encouraged to apply.

We are hiring an experienced Internal Controller for a leading steel manufacturing company in Angola. The role is responsible for strengthening internal controls, ensuring statutory compliance, managing pre- and post-audits, mitigating risks, and driving governance across sales, procurement, finance, and operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead internal control and audit activities across sales, procurement, payments, and compliance.
• Conduct pre- and post-audits of high-value transactions.
• Monitor statutory and tax compliance.
• Identify process gaps and recommend control improvements.
• Coordinate with Group Internal Audit and track audit closures.
• Prepare monthly internal control and risk reports.

Candidate Profile

• Inter CA/CMA or Qualified Internal Auditor.
• 5+ years of experience in Internal Audit, Finance, Controllership, or Risk.
• Manufacturing, Steel, Trading, or Multi-entity experience preferred.
• Experience in emerging markets/Africa is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
