Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Internal Audit Executive with a strong focus on inventory auditing, warehouse operations, and stock reconciliation. The role will support strengthening internal controls across warehouse, inventory management, and operational processes while ensuring compliance and accuracy of stock records across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inventory audits across warehouses, stores, and factory locations
• Perform physical stock verification and cycle counts
• Carry out inventory reconciliation between system records (ERP/WMS) and physical stock
• Audit warehouse operations including inward, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch processes
• Identify inventory discrepancies, shrinkage, and control gaps and recommend corrective actions
• Verify stock movement documentation, GRNs, transfer notes, and dispatch records
• Review inventory controls, SOP adherence, and warehouse compliance procedures
• Monitor MRP tagging, SKU-level tracking, and inventory accuracy
• Prepare inventory audit reports and track closure of audit observations
• Coordinate with warehouse, supply chain, finance, and operations teams for audit findings and improvements
• Support statutory, internal, and management audits related to inventory and operations
• Maintain proper audit documentation, working papers, and stock verification reports

Eligibility & Skills

• Basic understanding of inventory management, warehouse processes, and stock accounting
• Knowledge of inventory reconciliation and audit procedures
• Familiarity with ERP / WMS systems and stock registers will be an advantage
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
• High integrity and attention to detail
