Internal Audit - Big 4 - (Sector Telecom)

Internal Audit Professional Telecom Sector (Big 4) | Mumbai

We are hiring experienced Internal Audit professionals for one of the Big 4 firms in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have strong exposure to internal audit methodologies and prior experience working with clients in the Telecommunications sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Internal Audits and Process Audits in line with established methodologies and industry best practices
• Evaluate and apply the COSO Framework in assessing internal controls
• Understand business processes, sub-processes, and activities, and assess their interrelationships
• Review compliance with applicable regulations including SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) and other relevant laws
• Assess and test internal controls, including preventive, detective, and anti-fraud controls
• Work within ERP/IT environments to evaluate system controls and risks
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address complex audit findings and develop practical recommendations
• Identify root causes of issues, document audit findings, and propose actionable improvements
• Support timely execution of audit engagements, preparation of deliverables, and status reporting
• Work independently or lead teams of Associates/Specialists as required

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Internal Audit / Process Audit, preferably within the Telecommunications sector
• Strong understanding of COSO Framework, SOX compliance, and internal control concepts
• Familiarity with ERP systems and IT control environments
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulatory frameworks
• Ability to work in an individual contributor role and/or manage teams
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
