Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Intern Scrum Master with an interest in Agile methodologies and techno-functional environments. This role is ideal for candidates looking to gain hands-on experience supporting Agile teams in domains such as payment solutions, BFSI, retail, or healthcare.

You will work closely with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and cross-functional teams to assist in Agile delivery, process improvement, and alignment between business needs and technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Scrum Masters in facilitating Agile ceremonies:
• Sprint Planning
• Daily Stand-ups
• Sprint Reviews
• Retrospectives
• Assist in tracking sprint progress, updating boards, and maintaining Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
• Help translate basic business requirements into user stories with guidance from Product Owners
• Document meeting outcomes, action items, and sprint reports
• Identify and escalate minor impediments affecting team progress
• Support backlog grooming and prioritization activities
• Assist in monitoring Agile metrics such as burndown charts and velocity
• Promote adherence to Agile principles and team processes
• Collaborate with development, QA, and business teams to ensure smooth communication
• Participate in Agile learning sessions and contribute to process improvement initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in:
• Computer Science
• Information Technology
• Business Administration
• Or a related field
• Basic understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good organizational and time-management abilities
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship/project experience in Agile or software development environments
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps
• Basic understanding of domains such as BFSI, payments, retail, or healthcare
• Exposure to software development lifecycle (SDLC) concepts
• Any Agile certification (or pursuing) such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) a plus
