Intern - Cyber Security

To support the Information Security team in cybersecurity operations, vulnerability management, risk assessment, security monitoring, and compliance activities while gaining hands-on experience in real-world cybersecurity practices. The internship provides exposure to industry-standard security tools, frameworks, and processes, enabling the candidate to build a strong foundation for a career in cybersecurity.

Duration: 1 year

Roles and Responsibilities:

Assist in monitoring security alerts, incidents, and events through security monitoring tools and dashboards.

Support vulnerability assessment activities, remediation tracking, and risk mitigation initiatives.

Participate in security audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.

Review and analyze security logs, reports, and security events to identify potential threats.

Support endpoint, network, and application security initiatives.

Maintain cybersecurity documentation, policies, procedures, and reports.

Conduct research on emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends.

Assist in user access reviews and Identity & Access Management (IAM) activities.

Support phishing simulations, security awareness campaigns, and cybersecurity training programs.

Collaborate with IT and business teams to promote adherence to security best practices.

Assist in security tool administration, monitoring, and reporting activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree completed or currently pursuing in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts, networking, operating systems, and information security principles.

Knowledge of Windows, Linux, TCP/IP, DNS, and network security fundamentals.
