Interior Designer

Job Purpose

• Responsible for planning, coordination, execution and monitoring of all sorts of Interior Works & Maintenance for CMD residences (Mumbai & Pune) & Corporate Office (Pune) to ensure that the execution is in synergy with the management's expectations on the desired quality, cost & timeline adherence. Also responsible for Interior project execution for any of the ongoing/planned projects across various plants.
• Responsible for final review & approval of contractors RA/Final bills and Certifications post verification of material usage; drawing adherence; QA/QC adherence, cost control for Projects to ensure the right payouts and quality work completion. Optimize the cost through effective site inspections & adherence to applicable codes.

Accountability 1 - Project Execution

• Adherence to Project tracker, generate weekly reports.
• Day to day complete supervision and control over the workmanship of different contractors and agencies connected with the Interior & associated Civil & MEP activities.
• Coordinate & Support Vendor to execute MEP Works as per the approved drawing and BOQ specification with standard make & time schedule from vendor.
• Timely inspection & maintenance of records of all inward material as per Standard make list & finalized BOQ. (for e.g. inward register, photographs of critical items/works, etc.)
• Arrange for on-site feasible technical testing along with the required stakeholders as per site requirement.
• Implementation and adherence to Quality Testing Checklist for material and procedure.
• Prepare snag list and coordinate with vendor for addressing the points before ensuring project completion & handover to the client.
• Ensure 100% safety of workers during execution of Projects.
• Visiting Pune as a part of routine inspection is mandatory twice a month. May be increased as per managements requirements from time to time.

Accountability 2 - Billing

• To validate the bill as per BOQ specs and actual site execution with proper measurement sheet & quality check.
• Ensuring of all supporting documents like JMR, Standard make materials, DC with proper gate entry for billing process.
• Follow up with concerned stakeholders for vendor payment as per PO terms.

Accountability 3 Coordination with External Agencies -

• Conduct site visits from vendors and meeting with the client with prior appointment to understand the requirements.
• Coordination with Plant Team on Shut Down of Plant for upgradation of Project.
• Maintaining daily attendance register within & out timings is mandatory.
• Monitoring effective housekeeping for high-end CMD residences to the satisfaction of the client.
• 100% checklist adherence for impeccable asset maintenance.
• Tracking of all AMCs & ensuring timely approvals & renewals. Job Purpose

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualification required: Diploma in Interior Design.
• Qualifications preferred: Graduate in Interior Design. ISO Certification.

Work Experience

• Minimum 10-12 years of experience (stronghold in High-end Interior Design & Materials).
• Stronghold in high-end Client management & Multi-skilled Stakeholder Management.
• Preferred experience in Interiors of High-end residences / Facility Management.
• Knowledge of Interior design & Standards including various Materials & Specs.
• Other soft skills/competence: MS Office / AutoCAD.
