Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Chennai. The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing design concepts, preparing layout options, and refining designs based on client requirements and site conditions. Daily tasks include creating and reviewing space plans, coordinating construction drawings with architects and engineers, and selecting finishes, fixtures, and furnishings. The role involves regular site visits to monitor design implementation, resolve on-site design issues, and ensure adherence to specifications, timelines, and budgets. The Interior Designer will also collaborate with project managers, vendors, and contractors to maintain design quality and consistency throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications

Strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to translate client needs into functional, aesthetic layouts.
Knowledge of Architecture principles and coordination with structural and MEP teams for integrated design solutions.
Proficiency in preparing and reviewing Construction Drawings, including detailed plans, sections, and elevations.
Experience with FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, specifications, and coordination with vendors.
Relevant academic background such as a diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
Strong communication, visualization, and presentation skills, with attention to detail and material finishes.
Ability to work on-site, manage multiple projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and handle deadlines.
