Interior Designer

Team members work closely with clients to translate their needs into functional, aesthetically refined spaces that reflect contemporary design standards.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Bengaluru. The Interior Designer will collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, develop design concepts, and create detailed layouts and presentations for residential and commercial spaces. Day-to-day responsibilities include space planning, preparing construction drawings, selecting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and coordinating with vendors, contractors, and the in-house manufacturing team to ensure design intent is met. The role also involves site visits, overseeing installation quality, managing timelines, and addressing on-site design challenges. The Interior Designer will work closely with project managers and other team members to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with Grellow Spaces design standards.

• Strong skills in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to translate client needs into functional, visually coherent layouts.
• Knowledge of Architecture principles and experience reading or coordinating architectural and structural drawings.
• Proficiency in preparing detailed Construction Drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and joinery details.
• Hands-on experience with FF&E selection, specification, and coordination, including materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software and presentation tools
• Strong project coordination skills, including vendor management, site supervision, and timeline tracking.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions clearly.
• Bachelors degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with residential and/or commercial turn-key projects in Bengaluru or similar markets is an advantage.
