Interior Designer

Role Description The Interior Designer will work on-site in Mumbai in a full-time capacity, collaborating with architects, project managers, and clients to develop high-end residential, hospitality, and commercial interiors. Day-to-day responsibilities include conceptualizing design schemes, preparing mood boards and presentations, and translating concepts into detailed drawings and material specifications. The role involves coordinating FF&E selections, liaising with vendors and contractors, and ensuring that design intent is maintained throughout construction and installation. The Interior Designer will participate in site visits, oversee quality standards, and support project timelines and budgets to deliver cohesive, luxury design solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to create functional, aesthetically refined layouts.
• Knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings to coordinate effectively with project teams and contractors.
• Experience in FF&E selection, specification, and procurement for luxury residential, hospitality, or commercial projects.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar), and presentation tools.
• Excellent visual communication skills, including mood board creation, material curation, and client-facing presentations.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
• Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Mumbai, conduct regular site inspections, and coordinate with vendors and contractors.
• Bachelors degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field; prior experience in luxury design environments is an advantage.
