Role Description This is a full-time Interior Designer role based in Bengaluru with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing a mix of on-site presence and work from home as project needs permit. The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing design concepts, preparing presentations and mood boards, and translating client requirements into detailed plans and visualizations. Day-to-day tasks include space planning, selecting materials and finishes, coordinating FF&E specifications, and producing or reviewing construction drawings in collaboration with architects and contractors. The role involves site visits to review progress, verify design intent, and handle on-site adjustments when needed. The Interior Designer will also participate in client meetings, contribute to project scheduling, and support smooth communication between internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to create functional, aesthetically cohesive layouts for residential and commercial spaces.
• Understanding of Architecture principles and coordination with architectural teams to align interior concepts with overall building design.
• Experience with Construction Drawings, including preparing, reading, and coordinating technical drawings and details for on-site execution.
• Knowledge of FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), including sourcing, specifications, and coordination with suppliers and vendors.
• Strong skills in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar, along with basic proficiency in presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint, InDesign).
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to interpret feedback and incorporate it into design revisions.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a hybrid work setting.
• Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior experience in interior design or fit-out projects in Bengaluru or similar markets is an advantage.
