Job Description

  • To Lead and drive Instrumentation and automation maintenance for the entire facility
  • Preparation of Basic and Detailed Engineering for Instrumentation and PLC Automation Projects.
  • Planning, Installation, Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning and Qualification of Instrumentation and PLC Automation Projects.
  • To ensure Daily Calibration of Instruments as per the Schedule.
  • To ensure Uninterrupted running of Process and Utility Equipment's.
  • To ensure minimize the Breakdown Time of Plant Equipment / Instrument Systems.
  • Analyze and resolve work related problems or assist the team/technicians in resolving the issues.
  • To do modification works as per the approved change control.
  • Involving in all Qualifications as part of Instrumentation Scope.
  • Responsible for Preparing & Training on SOPs related to Instrumentation.
  • To support the documentation related to Change Controls, Deviations, Investigations and CAPAs etc. to comply as per the CGMP guidelines, Site Quality Procedures and GQDs.
  • Responsible for Audit Compliances.
  • Responsible to participate in Quality Risk Management & Quantitative Risk Analysis exercises.
  • Responsible to build up a good working relation with Cross Functional & Inter Departmental Teams.
  • To impart training to the team to perform their duties as per CGMP and GDP.
  • Ensure effective work processes and procedure are in place and are being followed / used by all the team members.
  • To coordinate with external agencies and contractors for day to day work.
  • Responsible for keeping the areas and documents ready for various Regulatory Inspections / Audits and need based active participation during audits.
  • Responsible for establishing & maintaining systems for spares as part of Instrumentation in process & utilities Equipments and its budget requirement.
  • To coordinate with purchase department and Engineering store for spare parts.
  • Maintain awareness on HSE requirements and implementation of the same as per the group policies, rules & regulations.

To carry out the activities assigned by the Head of Engineering department from time to time.
