About the RoleAs a Sales Manager at IIDE, you will manage and lead a team of sales counselors to achieve enrollment and revenue targets across India. This role involves day-to-day team management, execution of sales strategies, performance monitoring, and close collaboration with marketing to ensure high lead conversion and sustained business growth.
What Youll Do- Sales Target Achievement & Revenue Delivery:
- Achieve individual and team sales targets aligned with business plans.
- Manage lead conversion rates and maintain sales funnel hygiene.
- Drive new customer acquisition through direct sales and telesales.
- Monitor lead aging and ensure timely follow-ups by the team.
- Sales Strategy Execution & Process Improvement:
- Execute sales plans and campaigns designed by sales leadership.
- Drive cross-selling and upselling initiatives within the team.
- Share market insights and student feedback with product and marketing teams.
- Ensure effective CRM usage and adherence across the team.
- Team Management & Training:
- Manage and motivate a team of 1030 sales counselors.
- Conduct regular training on sales calls, pitches, objection handling, and lead management.
- Set daily, weekly, and monthly targets and track team performance.
- Support recruitment and onboarding of new sales team members.
- Reporting & Quality Assurance:
- Track and report team performance metrics including revenue per counselor and conversion rates.
- Conduct call audits and quality checks to maintain sales standards.
- Ensure proper lead allocation and CRM hygiene through regular audits.
- Additional Duties:
- Collaborate closely with marketing on lead quality and campaign effectiveness.
- Drive continuous improvement in sales processes and team productivity.
- Perform other duties as assigned by sales leadership.
- 23 years of sales experience with a PG degree from a premium B-school (such as IIMs or equivalent)
OR
- Graduate / Postgraduate with 810 years of total work experience, preferably in sales or EdTech.
- Proven experience managing a sales team of 10 or more members.
- Strong understanding of sales conversion metrics and pipeline management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and people management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, LeadSquared, etc.).
- Strong objection handling and negotiation skills.
- Experience supporting sales strategy execution and incentive planning.
- Ability to analyze data and create actionable performance reports.
- Familiarity with CRM processes and sales automation tools.
- Exposure to cross-functional collaboration with marketing and product teams.
- Experience working with international sales markets or teams.
- Certifications or training in sales leadership or CRM optimization.
