Inside Sales & Bids/Proposal Engineer We are hiring!

Waveoptix is looking for a dynamic and driven Inside Sales & Bids/Proposal Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for candidates who have experience handling government tenders, bid submissions, customer interactions, and technical coordinationespecially within the Aerospace, Defence, and Electronics domains.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Government and Private sector customers, ensuring timely responses and excellent customer experience.
  • Download, track, and analyse tenders from portals such as ISRO GEM, BEL SRM, ECIL, BDL, HAL, etc.
  • Prepare costing, proposals, BOQs, compliance statements, and bid documents for tenders.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, SCM, Technical, Finance) to ensure accuracy in pricing, documentation, and delivery commitments.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding pricing, product availability, and technical clarifications.
  • Manage order processing, purchase order review, documentation for dispatch, exchanges, returns, and cancellations.
  • Place purchase orders with approved vendors, ensuring accuracy in specifications, pricing, delivery terms, and supporting documentation.
  • Track vendor deliveries end-to-end, follow up proactively on dispatch and ETAs, and escalate delays to ensure on-time receipt of ordered items.
  • Collaborate with the inventory team to resolve product shortages or discrepancies.
  • Generate sales reports, submission trackers, and order status updates for management and customers.
  • Ensure all submissions comply with industry standards, customer expectations, and company policies.

Preferred Background

  • 0 to 5 years experience in Inside Sales / Proposal / Tendering roles
  • Experience in Aerospace, Defense, Electronics, or Manufacturing industries
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Engineering / Related fields; MBA preferred
