Scope:

A Sales Development Representative (SDR) in an Inside Sales team is primarily responsible for identifying and qualifying potential leads to support the sales pipeline. Their scope includes researching target markets, initiating contact with prospects through outbound calls, emails, and social media, and engaging in meaningful conversations to understand customer needs. SDRs assess lead quality, nurture early-stage opportunities, and schedule meetings or demos for senior sales executives. They work closely with marketing and sales teams to align messaging, track engagement, and ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads, playing a critical role in accelerating revenue growth and expanding customer reach.


He / She will collaborate with Akkodis marketing and field sales teams to generate leads, drive conversions, and maintain strong customer relationships


Responsibilities:

  • Prospect new clients via cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other channels.
  • Research accounts and personalize outreach based on industry and persona.
  • Qualify leads using frameworks like BANT or MEDDIC.
  • Schedule meetings for ISRs or Account Executives and ensure smooth handoff.
  • Track outreach activities and update CRM regularly.
  • Collaborate with marketing to align messaging and campaign execution.
  • Provide feedback on lead quality and outreach effectiveness.


Required qualifications


  • 35 years of experience in lead generation, sales development, or telemarketing.
  • Comfortable with outbound prospecting and cold outreach.
  • Bachelors or masters degree in business or Marketing
  • Proven track record of managing high-performing sales teams in a B2B environment.
  • Experience in IT, engineering services, or staffing industry
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales automation tools.
  • Experience working with North American clients.
  • Familiarity with sales qualification frameworks like BANT and MEDDIC.
  • Knowledge of tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Outreach.io.
