As an Infrastructure Specialist for the Red Hat OpenShift Platform, you will manage and implement Red Hat OpenShift-based infrastructure solutions according to established designs, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. You will collaborate with IT teams to implement and integrate OpenShift infrastructure solutions based on existing designs. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Manage OpenShift Clusters: Set up, configure, and manage OpenShift clusters, storage solutions, networking, and databases to effectively support business applications, ensuring smooth operations and high availability. • Implement Security Measures: Apply and enforce security measures to ensure OpenShift infrastructure complies with organizational policies and industry regulations, maintaining reliable performance and data protection. • Optimize Costs: Right-size resources, develop cost-effective solutions, and monitor usage patterns to optimize costs, ensuring efficient use of resources. • Troubleshoot Issues: Continuously monitor OpenShift infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and maintain high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) configurations to ensure reliable performance. • Automate Processes: Use automation tools like Ansible and Terraform to automate and streamline processes, implementing DevOps practices such as continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Deep Proficiency in Red Hat OpenShift: Experience with Red Hat OpenShift services, including OpenShift Container Platform, OpenShift Virtualization, and Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management (ACM), along with expertise in Linux and VMware environments. • Container Orchestration and Scaling: Proficiency in managing Kubernetes clusters through Red Hat OpenShift, ensuring effective container orchestration and scaling. • Automation and DevOps: Experience with automation tools like Ansible and Terraform, implementing DevOps practices such as continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD). • Cloud Migration and Implementation: Experience with cloud migration projects, including implementation and execution, with a focus on infrastructure solutions. • Security and Compliance: Experience applying and enforcing security measures to ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations in OpenShift infrastructure.
