Role Overview

Trianz is building a next-generation AI-native infrastructure and DevOps platform as part of its broader agentic digital transformation vision. This is not traditional cloud infrastructure engineering focused on maintenance and support this is about designing intelligent, self-deployable, enterprise-grade infrastructure systems capable of supporting AI-native applications, autonomous engineering workflows, and highly scalable enterprise deployments.

Were looking for a founding-caliber Infrastructure / DevOps Engineer to help architect and build the infrastructure backbone powering this platform.

This is a high-autonomy, high-impact role. You will be an early member of a new, fast-moving organization working alongside senior AI and platform engineers on cutting-edge infrastructure and AI DevOps challenges.

This role is best suited for someone who thrives in ambiguity, moves fast, takes ownership, and enjoys building systems from scratch rather than operating within mature enterprise processes.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Platform Engineering

• Design and build scalable infrastructure for AI-native enterprise applications
• Architect self-deployable application environments capable of running within customer-controlled infrastructure
• Define and implement secure, cloud-native infrastructure patterns across hosted, hybrid, and on-prem environments
• Build infrastructure supporting high-throughput, data-intensive workloads

DevOps & AI DevOps

• Design and implement scalable CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Build and improve observability, monitoring, logging, and reliability frameworks
• Contribute to AI DevOps systems including fine-tuning pipelines, model deployment workflows, and automated infrastructure operations
• Help define and improve autonomous/agentic engineering workflows within the SDLC

Cloud & Kubernetes Engineering

• Build and manage Kubernetes-based application platforms
• Design secure networking, containerization, and orchestration frameworks
• Implement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and related tooling
• Support scalable AWS-based deployments and cloud infrastructure optimization

Security, Compliance & Enterprise Readiness

• Build infrastructure aligned with enterprise-grade security and compliance requirements
• Support regulated-industry deployment requirements including SOC2, GDPR, and customer-hosted environments
• Design secure deployment models where code and data remain within customer environments

Collaboration & Ownership

• Take end-to-end ownership of infrastructure and DevOps architecture
• Work closely with AI, platform, and product engineering teams
• Drive rapid iteration in a high-ownership, startup-style engineering environment

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience

• 8+ years of Infrastructure Engineering / DevOps / Platform Engineering experience
• Minimum 2+ years working within product companies (not purely services/implementation environments)
• Experience building infrastructure for enterprise SaaS or cloud-native products
• Strong ownership experience managing end-to-end infrastructure ecosystems

Infrastructure & Cloud Expertise

• Strong hands-on expertise with AWS infrastructure and services
• Deep experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code patterns
• Strong Kubernetes, containerization, and cloud networking expertise
• Experience building infrastructure for high-scale, high-throughput workloads
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and release automation
• Strong observability and monitoring implementation experience

Enterprise & Security

• Experience supporting regulated industries such as finance, healthcare, cybersecurity, or government sectors
• Exposure to security/compliance standards such as SOC2, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.
• Experience building self-hosted or customer-deployable enterprise platforms

AI Infrastructure & Emerging Technologies

• Exposure to AI infrastructure, AI DevOps, or ML platform engineering is highly preferred
• Familiarity with GPU infrastructure, model deployment workflows, or LLMOps is a plus
• Experience with autonomous engineering systems or agentic workflows is advantageous

Technical & Programming Skills

• Strong programming/scripting capability in Python, Go, Bash, or similar languages
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, reliability engineering, and scalable cloud architectures

Mindset & Fit

• Comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
• Strong ownership mentality with willingness to drive systems end-to-end
• Not suited for candidates seeking highly structured or process-heavy environments
• Comfortable making architectural decisions with incomplete information

Nice to Have

• Experience with Pulumi
• Experience with Azure infrastructure
• Exposure to AI-native application infrastructure and AI platform operations
• Domain exposure in VMware, cloud migration, application modernization, ITSM, or cloud management platforms
• Experience using AI coding agents or autonomous engineering tools within production engineering workflows
