Informatica Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Informatica Developer to design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows for enterprise data integration projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in Informatica PowerCenter / Cloud, ETL development, SQL, and working with data warehouses or cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• ETL Development:
• Design, develop, and maintain ETL mappings, workflows, and sessions in Informatica PowerCenter or Informatica Cloud.
• Implement data extraction, transformation, and loading from multiple sources to target systems (Data Warehouse, Data Lake, or cloud platforms).
• Data Validation & Quality:
• Perform source-to-target data validation to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Implement error handling and exception management in ETL workflows.
• Generate and review data quality reports and reconcile data discrepancies.
• Database Interaction:
• Write and optimize SQL queries, views, and stored procedures for data extraction and validation.
• Perform database performance tuning as required for large-scale ETL operations.
• Collaboration & Documentation:
• Collaborate with Data Architects, Business Analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and design ETL solutions.
• Maintain proper documentation for ETL mappings, transformations, workflows, and processes.
• Deployment & Support:
• Support deployment of ETL workflows across Dev, QA, and Production environments.
• Assist in production support and issue resolution for ETL jobs.
• Cloud Integration (Optional):
• Work with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Snowflake if ETL workflows are deployed in cloud environments.
