Job Title: Informatica Administrator

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Informatica Administrator to manage, optimize, and scale enterprise Informatica platforms including Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) and PowerCenter. The ideal candidate will play a key role in platform engineering, administration, automation, migration initiatives, and CI/CD enablement while supporting enterprise-wide data integration needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, administer, and scale Informatica IDMC and PowerCenter platforms to support enterprise-grade data integration.
• Lead platform engineering initiatives including PowerCenter to IDMC migrations, organization provisioning, Secure Agent setup, and runtime environment configuration.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Informatica asset deployments using Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar DevOps tools.
• Automate administrative and deployment activities using Informatica REST APIs, Python, and shell scripting.
• Administer Informatica domains and services including Integration Services, Repository Services, Model Repository Services, and related platform components.
• Perform platform patching, upgrades, user access management, environment governance, and licensing administration.
• Monitor platform health and troubleshoot workflow, session, and performance bottlenecks to ensure SLA adherence.
• Develop reusable frameworks, templates, coding standards, and best practices for Informatica development teams.
• Collaborate with data architects, cloud engineering teams, and developers to deliver scalable and integrated data solutions.
• Evaluate new Informatica IDMC capabilities, connectors, and product enhancements to improve platform efficiency and scalability.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, SOPs, and platform standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on Informatica administration and development best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ years of overall experience in Informatica Administration.
• Strong expertise in Informatica PowerCenter Administration and Informatica IDMC.
• Experience in Informatica Cloud Data Integration (CDI), Secure Agents, and cloud-based integrations.
• Hands-on experience with PowerCenter to IDMC migration projects.
• Strong understanding of Informatica domain architecture, repository management, and platform services.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Git.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell scripting, or Bash.
• Experience working with REST APIs and automation frameworks.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills for Informatica workflows and sessions.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.
• Good understanding of enterprise data integration, ETL/ELT concepts, and data engineering practices.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Informatica IDMC or PowerCenter certifications preferred.
• Experience working in enterprise-scale data platforms and cloud modernization programs.
• Exposure to Agile and DevOps methodologies.
