Industrial Engineer

Role Overview:

We are looking for an Industrial Engineer to drive manufacturing efficiency, automation, and process optimization across aerospace production operations. The role focuses on reducing manual effort, improving machine utilization, optimizing shop-floor space, and increasing overall production efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify opportunities for automation and reduction of manual activities in production processes
• Improve machine utilization, production flow, and operational efficiency
• Optimize shop-floor layout, workspace utilization, and material movement
• Conduct time studies, line balancing, and cycle time reduction activities
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and productivity improvement initiatives
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Manufacturing Engineering teams
• Develop SOPs, process documentation, and workflow standards
• Monitor production KPIs and support capacity planning activities
• Drive continuous improvement projects focused on productivity, cost, and efficiency

Required Qualifications:

• B.E/B.Tech in Industrial / Mechanical / Production Engineering
• 38 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering roles
• Strong understanding of process optimization and production systems
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and workflow improvement
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in aerospace, Defence or precision manufacturing industries
• Exposure to automation initiatives and production planning tools
• Understanding of machine utilization, layout optimization, and manufacturing efficiency metrics
