Job Title: EXIM Manager

Location: Mumbai

Department: Supply Chain / Commercial

Role Purpose

To manage end-to-end export-import operations, ensure regulatory compliance, optimize logistics costs, and enable smooth international trade transactions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Export-Import Operations

• Handle complete documentation for exports & imports (Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB, COO, LC documents, etc.)
• Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transporters
• Ensure timely dispatch and clearance of shipments

2. Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with DGFT, Customs, FEMA, GST, and RBI regulations
• Manage IEC, RCMC, LUT filings, and other statutory requirements
• Stay updated with EXIM policies and trade regulations

3. Logistics & Cost Optimization

• Negotiate freight rates and contracts with logistics partners
• Monitor shipment timelines and reduce lead time
• Optimize logistics cost without compromising service

4. Banking & Documentation

• Handle Letter of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees, and export incentives
• Liaise with banks for document negotiation and compliance
• Manage export benefits like RoDTEP, Duty Drawback, etc.

5. Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination

• Work closely with internal teams (Sales, Production, Finance)
• Manage relationships with CHA, transporters, and international clients
• Resolve shipment-related issues proactively

6. MIS & Reporting

• Maintain shipment records and documentation
• Prepare reports on export/import performance, cost, and timelines
• Ensure audit readiness for all EXIM transactions

Key Requirements

Qualification

Graduate / Postgraduate

Experience

• 812 years of experience in EXIM operations
• Preferably from manufacturing / textile / engineering industry

Skills

• Strong knowledge of EXIM documentation & compliance
• Hands-on experience with customs clearance & DGFT procedures
• Good negotiation and vendor management skills
• Strong coordination and problem-solving ability

Preferred Profile
