US Immigration Consultant Job Description

We are looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented US Immigration Consultant with a minimum of 1 year of experience in handling US immigration processes and documentation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with US immigration laws, visa processing, and compliance-related paperwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle end-to-end US immigration processes and documentation.
• Prepare, review, and maintain immigration petitions and supporting documents.
• Work on visa categories such as H1B, OPT, CPT, STEM OPT, L1, TN, and GC processing.
• Coordinate with employees, attorneys, vendors, and clients regarding immigration requirements.
• Ensure compliance with US immigration laws and company policies.
• Track visa expiration dates, RFEs, amendments, and status updates.
• Assist employees with onboarding documentation, I-9 verification, and E-Verify processes.
• Maintain accurate immigration records and employee files.
• Stay updated with changing US immigration regulations and policies.
• Support audits and compliance checks related to immigration documentation.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience with US immigration laws and paperwork.
• Good understanding of H1B, OPT, CPT, STEM OPT, and work authorization processes.
• Experience in preparing immigration-related documentation and petitions.
• Knowledge of E-Verify and I-9 documentation.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and immigration tracking systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working with US staffing or consulting companies.
• Experience coordinating with immigration attorneys and vendors.
• Ability to work in US business hours is an added advantage.

Eligibility:

• Bachelors degree preferred.
• Excellent English communication skills.
