HV Specialists: Power Transmission & Distribution Specialist & HV Substation Specialist

Position responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly motivated High Voltage (HV) Electrical Designer to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. As an HV Electrical Designer at Dar, you will play a pivotal role in designing HV substations/Transmission lines and will coordinate/work closely with Architects, Engineers, and other stakeholders to optimize the project design and resolving design technical issues. You will also review the drawings, documents and material submittals based on project requirements.

Design activities include the preparation of reliable Electrical designs and Tender/Construction Drawings, Documents/Specification and Calculations for the following systems:

• Step up and step down HV AIS and GIS Substations
• Substation protection, Control & Telecommunication
• Substation SCADA system
• Earthing systems and Lightning protection.
• Overhead HV transmission lines

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience as electrical designer (7-10 years).
• Strong understanding of design principles, construction techniques, building systems and International Codes.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written), collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Power system Simulation and associated software.
• Knowledge of Design Software like AUTOCAD, REVIT, DIALUX, etc.
