Job Title: Fractional HR Manager / HR Partner

Experience: 3-7 Years

Engagement Type: Fractional / Part-time / 2 days a week

Reporting To: Founders / CEO

Location: Bengaluru


Role Overview

We are looking for a Fractional HR Manager to set up and manage core HR processes across three growing entities. This role is hands-on and execution-oriented, with ownership of HR operations, performance processes and employee lifecycle management.

The role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing structure to growing organizations without heavy bureaucracy.


Key Responsibilities

TALENT ACQUISITION - TA

  • Hiring Strategy & Planning - End-to-end hiring planning including role prioritization, job structuring, and alignment of hiring plans with business goals and budgets.
  • Job Design & Employer Branding - Creation of outcome-based job descriptions, articulation of the employer value proposition, alignment of messaging across LinkedIn and job platforms, and setup of a structured employee referral process.
  • Interview & Selection Management - Design and execution of structured interview processes, interviewer alignment and training, coordination of assessments where required, designing feedback collation mechanisms, and facilitating timely hiring decisions.
  • Offer & Pre-Joining Management - Design and execution of offer structuring, offer letter issuance, compensation discussions, negotiation support, and pre-joining engagement strategies to ensure successful candidate closure.
  • Hiring Closure & Onboarding Handover - Build and execute framework for seamless transition from hiring to onboarding through documentation handover, HR systems updates, and coordination to ensure day-one readiness.


HR OPERATIONS

  • Onboarding & Induction - Design and implementation of end-to-end onboarding covering pre joining documentation, day-one setup, induction sessions, role-specific onboarding plans, and optional buddy support programs.
  • Statutory & Legal Compliance - End-to-end statutory compliance guidance and monitoring including organizational compliance, POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) compliance, labor law registers, and mandatory filings, with assistance and guidance from external or internal legal teams.
  • HR Policies & Governance - Design and implementation of essential HR policies aligned with organizational values, industry best practices, and legal requirements.
  • Performance & Engagement Support - Performance management support including goal setting frameworks, review cycles, manager feedback enablement, and employee engagement initiatives to drive productivity and satisfaction.
  • Employee Relations & HR Support - Ongoing HR support covering employee queries, grievance handling, conflict resolution, manager advisory services, and exit feedback mechanisms.
  • Exit & Separation Management - End-to-end separation management including resignation processing, full-and-final settlement administration, and issuance of exit documents.


Experience & Qualifications

12 years + of experience in HR Operations / HR Generalist roles.

Hands-on experience in onboarding, payroll coordination, and performance management.

Prior experience supporting startups or multiple entities preferred.

Strong process orientation with a practical, people-first mindset.

Excellent coordination and communication skills.

Very good stakeholder management
