Position: HR Data Analyst
Location: Bangalore
Role Overview
The Data Analyst supports the human resources function by delivering accurate reports, analytics, and dashboard insights. The role develops automated reports, implements data governance practices, validates data across HR systems, and supports dashboard development to enable data-driven decision-making, including ad hoc requests from leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting & Analytics
- Develop, automate, and maintain standard and custom reports from HR systems, including SAP SuccessFactors and relevant modules, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
- Develop and maintain a data reporting library based on business needs to enable self-service reporting.
- Lead training sessions for relevant stakeholders on the use of the reporting library and related reporting tools.
- Support appropriate data visibility and access controls in line with defined protocols.
- Prepare and deliver regular and monthly HR reports to relevant stakeholders.
- Analyse HR data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Respond to ad hoc data requests from leadership and stakeholders by providing timely analysis and actionable insights.
Dashboard Support
- Support the accuracy and reliability of HR dashboards by validating data and performing regular checks.
- Assist users with dashboard-related queries and interpretation, as needed.
Data Validation & Quality
- Validate data across HR systems to ensure consistency and reliability in reporting outputs.
- Develop control reports to automate data checks and highlight misaligned data, enabling data owners to address issues promptly.
- Monitor data quality and identify discrepancies within HR datasets.
- Work closely with relevant teams, such as HR operations, HR systems, and IT, to resolve data issues and improve data accuracy.
- Support the implementation of HR data standards and governance practices.
- Support internal audit requirements during annual audits by preparing requested reports, validating data, and providing documentation related to HR data and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business, Data Analytics, Statistics, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or workforce analytics.
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
- Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI.
- Experience with HR systems and reporting tools, such as the SAP SuccessFactors reporting module.
- Strong understanding of data governance, validation, and reporting processes.
