Headless Commerce Front-End Engineer (React) - On Contract

We are looking for a senior headless commerce front-end engineer with React skills on a contract role.

Tentative Start date: 1st July 2006

Duration: 4 months full-time (with a possibility of extending to 6 months)

Experience: 6-10 years of front-end development experience

Role Description:

Responsible for designing and building the React-based headless storefront and customer portal experience. This role owns UI architecture, component development, customer-facing workflows, responsive design implementation, API integration, and performance optimization. The engineer leverages modern React tooling, Vite, AI-assisted development ("vibe coding"), and headless commerce patterns to deliver scalable, maintainable, and high-performing digital experiences across web and mobile devices. Must be comfortable working in the Salesforce Core Headless space, and comfortable creatingVibe / Claude coded front end layouts from Figma.

Skills Required:

Following are the must have skills.

• Strong front-end development experience with React & React based Tools
• Understanding of headless patters / architecture
• Strong integration skills, ability to work with APIs
• Ability to do AI-assisted development (Using Claude Code)
• Ability to convert Figma layouts to structured React app

Following skills are a big advantage for the role

• Understanding of Salesforce's core object model
• Understanding of Salesforce Apex language
• Understanding or ability to quickly learn Salesforce Headless space
