Our in-house team of architects, planners, designers, and project managers work end-to-end from concept ideation to site delivery for some of India's most respected organisations.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a seasoned 3D Design & Visualization leader to head our visualization function. This person will own the end-to-end 3D output pipeline from interpreting design briefs and producing photorealistic renders and walkthroughs, to building and mentoring a high-performance visualization team. The role is central to how SKV presents ideas to clients and differentiates its design quality in a competitive market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Leadership & Management

• Build, lead, and mentor the 3D Visualization team (artists, modelers, render technicians).
• Set quality benchmarks and review all visual deliverables before client submission.
• Allocate resources across concurrent projects and manage team workloads effectively.

3D Production & Quality

• Direct and produce high-quality 3D renders, walkthroughs, and fly-throughs for commercial interior design projects (corporate offices, retail, hospitality).
• Collaborate with architects and interior designers to translate 2D drawings/mood boards into compelling 3D visualizations.
• Ensure accuracy of space planning, scale, material finishes, lighting, and furnishings in all renders.
• Lead post-production and image compositing to achieve photorealistic output.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

• Present 3D visuals and design narratives to clients; incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently.
• Coordinate with the Business Development team to support pitches with compelling visualization decks.
• Liaise with project managers to align visualization timelines with project milestones.

Process, Tools & Innovation

• Establish and continuously improve visualization workflows, file management, and asset libraries.
• Evaluate and adopt new tools, renderers, and real-time visualization technologies to elevate output quality and speed.
• Introduce best practices for version control, naming conventions, and deliverable formats.

REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

Technical Proficiency (Mandatory)

• 3ds Max with V-Ray or Corona Renderer advanced level
• AutoCAD for reading and working off architectural drawings
• Adobe Photoshop for post-production, compositing, and image retouching
• SketchUp for quick 3D massing and concept modelling

Preferred / Added Advantage

• Real-time visualization tools Lumion or Enscape
• After Effects or Premiere Pro for walkthrough animation editing
• Rhino, Revit, or BIM-integrated workflows

Domain & Soft Skills

• Deep understanding of interior design principles: space planning, lighting design, material finishes, furniture layout
• Strong sense of aesthetics, composition, and colour
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills to articulate visual decisions to clients and design teams
• Strong leadership, delegation, and feedback skills

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, Fine Arts, or a related design discipline
• 8-12 years of hands-on 3D visualization experience, with at least 5 years in a lead/supervisory role
• Portfolio demonstrating high-quality interior design visualization work (commercial/corporate projects preferred)
