Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Hardware Design Engineer, located in Hyderabad. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and developing hardware for EV chargers, creating circuits, and contributing to hardware architecture. Additional responsibilities include testing, validating, and optimizing hardware designs to ensure performance, reliability, and efficiency according to project specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or higher degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• Experience designing power converters for EV systems (chargers, DC-DC, inverters).
• Strong understanding of MOSFETs, gate drivers, and power stage design.
• Experience with magnetics design including transformers and inductors.
• Knowledge of high-frequency and high-efficiency power converter design.
• Familiarity with safety and certification standards (AIS, CE, IEC, etc.).
• Understanding of SMD and through-hole components and layout practices.
• Experience with PCB design tools such as Altium or similar.
• Experience with MATLAB, simulation tools, or equivalent.
• Hands-on debugging using oscilloscopes and power analyzers.
• Strong technical documentation skills.
• Effective cross-functional communication and hands-on development mindset.
