Hardware Design Engineer

Hardware Design Engineer (Schematics & PCB Review) | 12 Years Experience

We are looking for a skilled Hardware Design Engineer with 12 years of experience, specializing in schematic design and PCB layout review, with exposure to microcontroller-based, MicroProcessor designs and high-speed interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop electronic schematics for embedded hardware systems

Work on designs using microcontrollers and MicroProcessor (TI, NXP, ST, Renesas)

Select components and define circuit architecture

Provide inputs, constraints, and guidelines for PCB layout

Review PCB layout files focusing on signal integrity, grounding, routing, and component placement

Validate designs involving SDRAM and high-speed serial interfaces

Collaborate with PCB layout and cross-functional teams to ensure robust design implementation

Maintain design documentation and support reviews

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related field

12 years of experience in schematic design and PCB layout review

Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design

Hands-on experience with tools like Altium, OrCAD, KiCad, or similar

Experience with microcontrollers: TI, NXP, ST, Renesas

Knowledge of SDRAM interfaces and high-speed serial communication

Good understanding of PCB fundamentals (stack-up, grounding, routing practices)

Familiarity with protocols like I2C, SPI, UART
