The team includes experienced engineers and product designers with a strong track record of building and shipping consumer hardware products at scale. Project Mirage operates across San Francisco and Bangalore and is in an early, fast-moving phase of product and brand building.

Role Overview

We're looking for a Growth Generalist to own our community and outbound growth layer. This is not a community moderation role. We need someone who treats a platform like Discord with a few hundred members like a product - with a growth strategy, a retention plan, and a reason for people to show up every week.

You'll run structured creator and influencer outreach at scale, and help grow our waitlist through relationship-led channels. As the company scales, this role grows into a broader performance and growth function.

What You'll Own

• Run influencer and creator outreach at scale using AI-assisted systems
• Identify and cultivate relationships with niche communities in the Mac, developer tools, and productivity space
• Seed content and conversations organically across Reddit, Discord, LinkedIn groups, and forums
• Track referral and waitlist growth metrics; report weekly on what's working and what isn't
• Support the Brand Lead on launch activations and community-led campaigns
• Eventually own performance marketing channels as budget and product scale opens up

Requirements

• 2-4 years in community management, growth, or outbound at a consumer or SaaS brand
• You've owned a Discord, Slack, or online community before - you know the difference between active and a ghost town
• Comfortable running structured outreach at volume without losing the human touch
• Data-oriented: you track what you do and adjust based on what you see
• Curious about AI tools and workflows - we use them heavily and expect you to as well
• Bonus: existing network in the Mac, productivity, or developer tools community
