Role Overview

As Group Head Strategy, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how brands grow, compete, and show up in the market. Sitting at the intersection of business, creativity, and consumer insight, this role goes beyond responding to briefs its about defining the problems worth solving and setting the strategic direction for multiple businesses.

You will lead end-to-end strategy, guiding a team of planners while working closely with creative and business stakeholders to translate thinking into impactful work. From refining existing brand narratives to building new ones, you will ensure consistency, clarity, and relevance across everything we put out.

This role demands a strong point of view, the ability to simplify complexity, and the confidence to operate in ambiguity. You will also play a key role in driving growth, contributing to new business opportunities, and elevating the overall strategic standard of the organization

Roles & Responsibilities

• Own strategy for a set of businesses end to end
• Lead and mentor a small team of strategists
• Handle and evolve existing brand strategy, ensuring consistency and progression
• Turn vague client asks into clear, sharp problem statements
• Build insightful, persuasive narratives that drive both client decisions and creative output
• Work closely with creative and business teams to ensure thinking translates into impactful work
• Bring cultural, consumer, and commercial perspectives together seamlessly
• Contribute to new business and growth conversations

Requirements

• 57 years in strategy/planning across agency or brand
• Strong thinking skills with a clear, confident point of view
• Ability to simplify complexity and focus on what matters
• Comfort operating in ambiguity and fast-moving environments
• Ownership mindset you dont wait to be told, you define direction
• Strong stakeholder management across clients and internal teams
